What specifically is frustrating about using a Tuber. . .

(To Randy Marks) Well, I guess my problem with Tubers is that I
have a hard time keeping up with a fast climbing partner because
the rope is hard to pull through. But, the problem may have less
to do with the Tuber itself than with the fact that wežve been
climbing with an 11mm, sort of oldish/soggy rope. A new rope
(10.5) is on order--maybe this will make things easier?

Still, I do find it annoying when the Tuber gets locked tight
against the biner. What about spring loaded devices??
