I used a North Face Tagerine Dream which is a -30 synthetic with a
coolmax polyester liner. The coolmax is really nice because it
doesn't feel cold to the touch even though it really is very cold.
Alex has a Feathered Friends Eider which is a -30 down bag with
Gore-tex shell. His body moisture made the down get somewhat wet.
Did you read the epilogue? It has some of the equipment in it.
