Read in the November 1993 issue of "High," a publication of the
British Mountaineering Council, pg. 54:

"Falling!": The approved UIAA exlamation (English version) for
alerting one's belayer to an imminent fall. An acceptable variation
for Oxford University classics students is: "Vigilate et orate!"
('Watch and pray!') though this phrase is generally used as the
culmination of an extended dialogue in Latin, such as:

Leader (below unprotected crux move): "Fortes Fortuna adjuvat."
('Fortune helps the brave.') Second: "Faber est quisque fortunae
suae." ('Every man is the fashioner of his own fortunes') L: "Aut
inveniam viam aut faciam." ('I shall either find a way or make
one.') S: "Facta non verba." ('Deeds, not words.') L: "Aut vincere
aut mori!" ('To conque or die!') S (to passer by): "Zonam
perdidit." ('He is in needy circumstances.') L: "Volo, non valeo."
('I am willing, but unable.') S: "At spes non fracta." ('But hope
is not yet crushed.') L: "Dum spiro, spero." ('While I breathe, I
hope.') S (interrupted): "Aut ..." L (falling): "Vigilate et
orate!" ('Watch and pray!') S: "Excessit, eruptit!" ('He is off,
he has broken away!') L (colloquailly): "Shiiiiiiit!" ('Bother!')
